The Switzerland diary continues with Geneva. While Zürich made me feel like in Vienna, Geneva made me feel like in the South of France. Not only the language, but also the architecture (and the slightly warmer weather) made a difference. What can you do in Geneva if you’re staying for 2 days? Take some photos with the Jet d’Eau, continuing with a walk along the lake and then into the old city centre. I cannot stay away from art exhibitions, so I added an exhibition of Kabuki prints at the Cabinet d’arts graphiques and the largest exhibition of vintage posters by Keith Haring. We also wanted to visit CERN, but it was such a pity that it was closed at the beginning of January. Either way, we went over there (by tram) at least to take a photo 🙂 Ended the Switzerland trip with a cheese fondue and a fisherman’s salad at the Restaurant au petit chalet (delicious food but extremely crowded restaurant)
