I have found quite some photos from the day trip to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha. As usual, it was super sunny and warm (again, amazing! for January!). After climbing the stairs to the Big Buddha, we had some noodles & bean cakes, and of course, milk tea with tapioca perals. I will also make a more detailed blog post with what we visited in around 5 days, so stay tuned for tips on Hong Kong!

beautiful photos!
HK is one of the places we really want to visit, so much culture. So i loved seeing this post and the Buddha. Looks like you had a fabulous day x
I’ve always wanted to visit Hong Kong – it looks truly amazing. The view from the Big Buddha is breathtaking.
The flowers are gorgeous. I’ve been there, but too bad I was not able to visit Lantau Island.
Wait, that’s Hong Kong? Why didn’t I see this when I went there? Oh… it’s Lantau Island… I remember the name from the various HK movies and dramas I watched

My wife have seen nthat Big Buddha and she was really amazed with its size. Hope to see it too someday.
Great place to visit. It has been more than 10 years I didn’t visit Hong Kong. Shall plan a trip there. I bet it changes a lot.
Hongkong is beautiful and have easy living when you’re a tourist. I visited this place and ate different kinds of noodles. Their food are superb even in a nearby small eatery.
Hong Kong is like my second home since I’m there annually. I always love visiting the place and exploring the mix of their heritage, the modernness of the city and their forested trails.
I’ve visited this place before and it really is quite a beautiful spot!! Hoping to travel back here in the future with friends 🙂
I love Hong Kong! I have been there twice but never visit the Big Buddha, so I always have a reason to go back there.
