Over the knee boots have been my obsession since the weather started to get chillier. I have been looking for suede over the knee boots since September or so and I have seen what I wanted only online (even the expensive ones). So when I went to Japan for the winter holidays I was overwhelmed by the choice of over the knee boots in all the clothing stores. I got my pair on the Christmas day; after having a coffee overlooking the Shibuya scramble crossing, I went around and actually went into Forever 21. I was expecting to see differences, even if Forever 21 is an US brand. And I did – the clothes were cuter, sizes seemed smaller (yes!) and so so many over the knee boots! The pair I got was actually on sale – just one pair in my size – and cost me in the end approximately 3600 Yen, which is around 28E. Would have never found this around here in Luxembourg. The top is also from Forever21, but from the store in Osaka.
I love wearing the boots with short skirt or dress, but you would also wear them over leggings or skinny jeans (even if that is the limit as they are quite tight on the calf).
I personally love the Japanese style, their clothing brands and their street style. There were many combinations that I loved but I would be looked at in a strange way around here – such as pairing cute short socks with high heels or pairing sweat pants with elegant heels and a blazer.
