Literally every spring time, florals are in, just like in summer the tropical patterns are trendy. And very spring I think of this Devil wears Prada quote
And I feel unoriginal and not unique. But the truth is, I DO love florals for spring and they are a pattern that goes well with with the blossoming trees and rebirth of the nature after a long winter sleep. Every time I buy a floral top or even when I chose my floral phone cases, I felt secretly judged by Miranda Priestly. But then there’s the little voice inside me telling me to wear and pick whatever I want. As you can already see in my embroidered shirt outfit and more to come, I am a sucked for delicate florals!
So for this spring collaboration with CaseApp, I went for not one, but two floral phone cases! I am a lover of anything Japanese, so of course I went with a sakura pattern – really fitting for this time of the year, as the cherry trees are in bloom. And for the other case, I wanted a vintage wallpaper style, with pink roses or peonies on a mint/blue background. While the first one is bolder and brighter, the second one is softer and more muted. And I particularly love that I can changed them according to my mood or outfit and hopefully the trees outside will also be in bloom.
What do you think of florals for spring? Are they timeless or overrated?
