I am such a foodie and if I’m on holiday, I am even more into eating and discovering new foods. If my hotel comes with complimentary breakfast, you bet I’m gonna try every single dish they are offering!
And this was particularly difficult at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok because their Super Breakfast is insane! I have already reviewed the hotel, but the breakfast deserves a blog post of its own!
Aside from the fact that the design of the breakfast area just blends in with the classiness of the rest of the hotel, the variety and quality of the food blew me away.
Most hotels in Asia have a mix of Continental and Asian dishes, and I am always expecting the same food for both categories. But boy, I was not prepared for this breakfast.
They went beyond having the basics, they had dedicated stations for each type of food: Japanese food, Dim Sum, ice cream sundae, Continental breakfast, Indian food, and the usual cereal, fruit, bread and pastries.
3 mornings were *barely* enough for me to try out every single dish. Every morning was a real struggle for what to pick, but I always ended up with something different from each station. Starting the day with tofu and sushi from the Japanese station, followed by a variety of dumplings from the Dim Sum cart. Then a mini chicken burger from the Continental breakfast station, followed by chicken and rice from the Indian station . I would finish with a hot coffee and a platter of fresh fruits, yogurt and cereal, and cakes.
Safe to say that my mornings were a true delight! And you want to know the best part? You can have fresh coffee and ice cream to go!

PLEASE NOTE: I received a media rate at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok, but rest assured that all opinions are honest and my own.
What a fabulous treat to have for breakfast! I’ve never seen ice cream sundaes and mini chicken burgers in the mornings, but I’d no doubt splurge and indulge! Indian sounds great too, in fact they all sound excellent!
I’ll have to remember to consider the Radisson Blu Plaza if I ever am in Thailand again–thanks for sharing those gorgeous pics!

Omgosh omgosh! I’m so happy you’re experiencing Bangkok! Have you been to Koh San Rd yet? It isn’t the best part of Thailand so are you going to one of the islands later on?
